This is our first Spring and I cannot wait to plant this full of color.

New Rug In My Pretty Home Office...

 This post is a bit overdue...
I ordered this rug before Christmas and have been in love with it.
But I never shared it on the blog.

This is a Wayfair rug called Castleford Beige.
Mine is an 10 by 12... I love how large it is.
Plus I got it on sale for less than $100!

Recently I have added a few Spring touches...

I went to the lighting center and wow....

There is a mind blowing amount to choose from.

I knew this, but the size of this shop was amazing.

Okay, I am taking risks this time!

I love the three blade fan shown above.

It is 60 inches across and so neat.

I have the girls vote... hope hubby likes it too.

Today I wanted to share a few lighting choices.... 

I love how many wonderful options we all have now a days.....

In the entire house I am doing rubbed bronze/brown metals.

So even if the pics don't show it... it will be in bronze.  

This first is a lantern style and I really like it.
I am thinking of using it over my island.
It is huge, and will make quite a statement.

Making Decorating Decisions.... The Color Pallette and Design

2814 square feet.... doesn't sound so big...

but somehow its huge when you're picking out every square inch of it.

Yes, tomorrow is a long awaited day... 

Our appointment at the design center at Stoneridge Homes.

It has been a long two months coming for me to drive myself nuts about colors.

The walls were really simple... three colors... 

Repose Grey - SW 7015

Main Color----a greige (bit of beige) great room, kitchen, entry, hall.

Krypton SW 6247

a grey with blues... master bedroom, master bath, dining.

Monorail Silver- SW 7663

a true grey...for kids rooms, bathrooms, utility, study.

Okay, good start....
