It is kind of hard to believe this journey is coming to a close.
In just 5 short days we will sign all the final papers.
And the big moving process will begin!
Before it does... lets take one more look around...
They installed the granite on the "superman" island this week.
It looks wonderful and I love another work area in this oversized kitchen.
Maybe it does not look big in the photos, but this kitchen is one of the main reasons we chose this plan.I am in love with all the cabinets and storage.
We had an island in the farmhouse, but this peninsula is wonderful.
The fireplace is just a switch to cozy fires.... plan on using this on the few days it gets cold in Alabama.
I love the drawers in the butler's pantry... not sure what will be stored in them...
The cute dining room is not overly large... but that is fine. I will have a farmhouse table in the great room.
I will use this as a pretty office like I did in Indiana.
Love these floors... even though they are very dirty at the moment.
The trim our build does is so beautiful.
I will be furnishing this room last... it will be a tv/study with a small sectional and a chair.
I love just about everything about it and see us spending lots of time in here.
Looking back toward the entry.
One thing I love is how you see all the garden spaces from inside.
My Indiana house set up quite a bit, but this house the windows almost come to the floors.
Kids bath, I don't think you have see it yet.The fence is ready for our two dogs.
It will be stained a dark brown in a few weeks.
It is not huge, but I will make it homey with containers and seating areas.
And of course... the view!
Right side of the fence...
And left side....
Okay I will be busy for a while getting everything squared away...
But you know... when I can I will pop in and share!
Much love...Brooke
It looks beautiful. Looks like you are going to beat me to closing by a few days, lol. Will your builder have the house cleaned before you move in? Ours does and they also pressure wash the outside.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love the windows and all of the moulding/molding!
