2814 square feet.... doesn't sound so big...
but somehow its huge when you're picking out every square inch of it.
Yes, tomorrow is a long awaited day...
Our appointment at the design center at Stoneridge Homes.
It has been a long two months coming for me to drive myself nuts about colors.
The walls were really simple... three colors...
Repose Grey - SW 7015
Main Color----a greige (bit of beige) great room, kitchen, entry, hall.
Krypton SW 6247
a grey with blues... master bedroom, master bath, dining.
Monorail Silver- SW 7663
a true grey...for kids rooms, bathrooms, utility, study.
Okay, good start....
Here is some pics from the builder of the styles of trim we will be doing.
Stoneridge is known for its millwork.
Our fireplace will look very much like this...
I like the cabinet color in the photo too.
And our dining room will be very much like this, but larger windows with a transient.
I may do a door like this as well. I love the cottage look.
Here are the cabinets I am deciding between....
And these are shaker style and lighter.
This is a more coastal/contemporary look.
These are slightly raised and a bit darker
I actually love them both.
I know I want light and bright, with grey and white counters and backsplash.
I love the glass backsplash and rubbed bronze fixtures.
I may just say.... do that... but I want a quartz that looks like carrera marble.
I am just waiting to see the cost difference.
They are both beautiful.
My floors will look very much like this I believe.
That is what is in the model home and we love them.
I will look at the greyer toned ones, but I know we like these in person.
Here is my kitchen layout from the model home...
It has the shaker style cabinets in Ebony.
I cannot wait to have a big kitchen and pantry again!
I will bring my camera and take pictures of my choices tomorrow.
Who knows, maybe I may change up everything...
But for now... this is how I think it will look.
Love any input of suggestions.
Thanks for stopping by.....

How exciting! I love that dining room with all of the wainscoting and crown moldings. The whole house looks beautiful. Love the layout too!

This is an exciting adventure! We built our 'retirement' home last year and hubby was our general contractor. (Just a BIT of stress.). You can check out the descisions we made on my site. I'll be following along to see your progress. There are so many decisions but you've always had great vision so your new home will turn out beautifully! We're working on our new gardens now, again, we're doing it ourselves so it will be a process. Happy Easter!
