When I opened my email this morning I was so happy...
To see so many new follower requests!
I have missed blogging so much.
But some days with us in the rental...
it feels like a hotel room.
Not the pretty, homey spaces I like to share.
But soon, very soon... I hope to be settled into our new home.
And sharing all the spaces and ideas.
Maddie is 17 and a Junior in High School.
Morgan is 15 and a Freshman.
Wow does the time fly...
And of course...
since part of my blogging includes my sweet girls...
Here are some pictures from Easter here in Alabama.

Hi Brooke, your girls are beautiful and I love your new site! How exciting to be building a new home.
ReplyDeleteJane it is very exciting... and complicated. I will be more excited once we see something happening. Hoping to break ground before May.
DeleteYour girls are so sweet and pretty, Brooke!!! I bet you are so excited to get going on the new house. I can't wait to follow along and see the progress. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThanks Diana, they are good kids... but the four of us plus two dogs in the rental is a bit too much at times. Glad it is warm again and they can do things outside.
DeleteHi Brooke, your new site is so pretty and your daughters are beautiful. Congratulations on your new home. I hope you will have fun decorating it and I can't wait to see it!

Thanks Julie. I use to do graphics before all the blogs. I open up photoshop and play from time to time.
DeleteI know what you are going through. We have been in a rental since November and are building a house. Your girls are beautiful. Thanks for emailing me and letting me know of your new blog. I will follow you on Bloglovin. Hope you come visit my blog and watch my house as it is being built too!
ReplyDeleteYeah Penny, I will pop over in a second. One tip I did get this week I want to pass along is to put your masterbath lights on a dimmer. They can be a night light or just soft lighting from time to time.
DeleteWelcome back, Brooke! Looking forward to seeing your new home details. I was following along on some FB posts......
ReplyDeleteYour girls are lovely, and I hope they've settled in nicely to their new state/home. I know it can be tough. Talk about time flying....my girls are now 32 and 29 (I had to actually do the math in my head - almost got it wrong!) :O
Wow Rita, I know it flies. My kids were 5 and 7 when I started Creative Country Mom. I thought it would just be a mom blog... lol. Kids grow up way too fast!
DeleteHow adorable~ It's such a joy to see sisterly love. Thank you for sharing and glad you're back to blogging.
ReplyDeleteMe too. It was a nice break, but hopefully will be back to weekly with the house starting soon.
DeleteMy grandgirl seems like she was just born and now she's 1 year 5 moths today ! My first one is twelve and very tall, she looks fifteen.
