Yes, I've been shopping.
Guilty.
But I will tell you... I needed it!
ya...ya... I know.
The little rental living room is so dark during the day.
I am missing all my natural light.
My last floor lamp broke in the move....
So I've been on the hunt for a few months.
When we moved down here and I thought I would be a die hard HomeGoods gal.
Don't get me wrong... you can get me in there any day and I will find something.
But Kirkland's has my heart...♥
And it's where I found my perfect floor lamp.
Specifically the Mackinaw Cream Floor Lamp.
It has the prefect amount of distressing.
And it is HUGE!
68 inches tall... that's almost 6 ft!
It feels sturdy and well made.
Regularly, it's $110 in the store....
but you can get coupons online any day.
So I used my 25% off any regular priced item and got it for $80.
That is a deal folks, I have seen similar ones for $300 and up.
There is also a table lamp to match.
But I am using my existing ones in the new house.
The base is a hard resin, that could so easily be painted.
So in a few years... when I change colors...
I could paint it over.
But right now... I am in love with the soft cream.
I think it could be used all over the house.
This would be so pretty in a corner of a bedroom.
Everything I am picking out for the new house it light and bright.
But honestly, this might be my favorite new thing.
So here it is in my little rental.
I told you it was big!
It kind of takes over the small living room.
But the huge space I am going to....
it will be wonderful!
They had others online I really liked.
They are all about the same price.
PS> This is the little tray I told you about last week.
Too cute.
No, this is not a sponsored post.
This is my honest opinion.
When I see a good deal.
I want to tell ya'll about it too!

Love it! The house we are renting while we build is dark too.
ReplyDeleteI love the lamp wish we had a Kirklands in New York. It looks so pretty nestled near your sofa. Good luck with your new home đĄ
ReplyDeleteLove the lamp, Brook. And LOVE Kirkland's. I can get myself into a whole lot of trouble there. Especially at Christmas.
ReplyDeleteOMGOSH- I love it and it is 'chunky' looking, too, and not a skinny little pole lamp. Just LOVE it, Brooke. I like a bright and light room, too. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the South!!! Love the lamp, now I really must go and find a store.
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE that-- I haven't seen one like that and I love the finish too. You are so fortunate to be down South! It is our dream to relocate to St. Simons Island, GA in a few years. I think you at least get more sunlight that we do up here Chicago way!
ReplyDeleteI love this lamp! I bought one similar a few years ago but it does not have the "presence" yours has. Can't wait to see it in the new home. Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm, Brooke! xo Kathleen|Our Hopeful Home
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty lamp, Brooke!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Jamie
That's a great lamp, Brooke! I have that I love from Kirklands too but mine isn't a floor lamp. Great find!
