Refresh of Rustic Shelves

 Hello again...
I am continuing my after Christmas decorating.
My hubby made me these shelves in the niche before the holidays.

I loved having them decorated for Christmas.
But now they are more like the rest of the house.
They're a great way to display my vintage photos.
Old books... and wooden boxes and crates.
I added some new greenery from At Home...
And more of my battery operated candles.
I love turning them on at night by remote!

Hope things are going well for you.
Been very cold, but warming up to almost 60 today.
Hoping to get my outside holiday stuff all packed away.

xxx...Brooke

  2. The shelves are really nice. They bring a vintage vibe to your new house. I like the rustic shelves with the new white walls. Are any of the vintage photos of your ancestors? I love old photos, too. I have some great ones of my grandparents and my parents when they were young.

I envy you the warm weather. It's still in the 20's and below here in Michigan. Warm enough today to have a drizzling rain/mist going on, though. I'd really rather it stay frozen than become mushy and grey. Plus I hate having to dry the dog off every time he comes in!

Hope the New Year is off to a good start at your house!

  3. Very cute shelves! Do you happen to have a tutorial on how he made these? I have a similar niche and I think these shelves would rock that space. Thanks. :)
